Three things explain most of the £200–£450 range. The first is how the veneer is made: pressed veneers allow finer margins than milled ones. The second is the finish: a monolithic, stained veneer costs less than one cut back and layered by hand at the edge. The third is the material itself. Genuine IPS e.max costs a laboratory more than unbranded lithium silicates sold under the same name.

What do 6, 8 or 10 e-max veneers cost in total?

The gap between 6 and 10 veneers is larger than the gap between a cheap and an expensive clinic. A clinic at the top of the price range doing six teeth costs about the same as one at the bottom doing ten. Before comparing per-tooth prices, agree which teeth actually need treating.
How many veneers does your smile actually need?
The right number is set by which teeth show when you smile broadly, and by which of them have a problem worth treating. Six veneers cover the front teeth from canine to canine. Eight or ten extend the change into the premolars, which matters if your smile is wide and the side teeth would otherwise look darker or narrower.
Lower teeth often show less. Many plans veneer the upper arch and whiten the lower one. Ask the clinic to mark the planned teeth by number on a photograph of your smile, and to explain each one. If a clinic quotes 20 veneers from photographs alone, ask why each tooth is included. A count that high can be justified, but it should come with a reason for each tooth.

The whitening point catches many people. Veneers are matched to the colour of your other teeth, and whitened enamel needs about two weeks to settle before bonding. When are e-max veneers the wrong place to spend?
E-max is a strong, predictable ceramic, but it is not the right answer to every problem:
- Small chips or gaps on otherwise good teeth. Composite bonding costs £80–£200 per tooth in Turkey and needs little or no drilling. Read composite bonding vs porcelain veneers before choosing.
- Very dark or tetracycline-stained teeth. Thin e-max may not mask them; zirconium veneers or a more opaque design may be needed.
- Crowded or rotated teeth. Straightening first often reduces how much tooth needs to be removed.
- Healthy teeth you mainly want whiter. Whitening alone may be enough.
