Quick answer
Turkey MedMatch publishes independent clinical guides for UK, EU and US patients considering dental treatment in Türkiye. This page explains how our guides are written, reviewed, sourced and kept up to date.
How our guides are written
Our guides are written by the Turkey MedMatch Editorial Team using peer-reviewed clinical literature, professional guidelines and manufacturer documentation. ## Clinical review
Every guide is reviewed by a qualified dentist, whose name, qualifications and review date appear on the page. Guides on complex surgical treatments, such as full-arch and zygomatic implants, are additionally reviewed by a specialist before publication.
Our reviewers check that:
- clinical statements, figures and risks are accurate;
- alternatives are presented fairly;
- the guide does not encourage unnecessary or overly invasive treatment.
Reviewers work independently. They have no role in clinic recommendations, rankings or referrals.
Sources
We rely on peer-reviewed research, consensus statements from professional bodies, manufacturers' instructions for use, and regulatory guidance. Claims are marked with numbered citations that link to the reference list at the end of each guide. Where we rely on news or professional-body reports rather than peer-reviewed research, we say so.
Prices
Prices in our guides are indicative ranges compiled from [describe method, e.g. published clinic price lists and quotes reviewed by our team]. They are updated every [frequency] and are not quotes. The date of the last price update appears on each guide.
Independence
Turkey MedMatch does not accept payment for editorial coverage, rankings or favourable reviews. [Describe how the platform is funded.]
Updates and corrections
Every guide is reviewed at least once every 12 months, and sooner if new evidence or regulation changes the advice. If you believe something in a guide is inaccurate, contact us at [email]. We review every correction request and update the guide where needed.
Medical disclaimer
Our guides are for education only. They do not replace an in-person examination, diagnosis and treatment plan from a qualified dental professional.
